Unless you want to breed from your cat, I see no reason not to adopt from a cat charitiy (like the Cats Protection League).

There are millions of stray and unwanted cats in the UK which is a very sad situation.

Our moggy came from the RSPCA about ten years ago, and is the most docile, loving, friendly and intelligent of animals.
