Are You A Cat Person or a Dog Person or Maybe Both ? Added by BenjaminBunny, 21 Jul 2009 13:11 I see someone thinks that those of us who like cats in the UK are 'nuts'. Well he or she is entitled to their opinion, however misinformed they are. |

Re: Are You A Cat Person or a Dog Person or Maybe Both ? Added by Tanya, 25 Jul 2009 10:55 I really like cats better - but our cat is Siamese and she has almost all the personality of a dog - she is loyal, she likes to play fetch, and also 'talks'. |

Re: Are You A Cat Person or a Dog Person or Maybe Both ? Added by Eva, 04 Nov 2009 06:51 While there are people who are great with dogs and cats, I find the dog lovers only are not as gentle people as cat only people who are more sensitive. We are both cat people. We find that some dog only people are more aggressive and cat only are more gentle people. I also prefer cats to walking the dog. My cats have their own doors, and the older cats "go" outside, yet when we take them in our RV - our "Cat House on Wheels," they know that that is their little house where they use the box and don't go outside. If we take them on a lease, it scares them as they don't know where they are. We met a couple this summer who summer in Minn. and winter where it is warm, are full time RVer's in a plush Class A motor home. The 3 cats do not try to get out, just look out the window in the door or the windows or not. I do not want to take a dog out in the am and be sure to be home in time for pm walks. I really think dogs need yards and their own door, as an aunt of mine has about six inside dogs with large back yard and huge dog door. No burglar alarm is needed! By the way, she is gentle and not aggressive - and her dogs like me. Most dogs do not like me. Cats love my husband. If he is out someplace - even in Mexico where a Mex raccoon or cotamundi was tied at an outdoor restaurant, people walked by picking on him, my husband sat down near him, stroked him, and soon it crawled up on my husbands lap and napped while our wonderful grilled lobster and fish was being prepared. |
