DEAD KITTEN

Aww my cat bella has had 4 kittens last Sunday and one has died today, which is very sad, I have removed the dead kitten, but I am now worrying if this was the right thing to do so quickly, or will the mum cat be okay about this, sorry if this sounds silly.

So sorry for your bad news. But often the weakest of a litter does not make it.
In the wild, the mother cat would often eat the dead kitten. this is not as gross as it sounds - and makes perfect nutritional sense if you think about it.
She is simply reabsorbing the nutrients she provided to create the kitty.
Still it is always very sad.
