Our first kitten is arriving to his new home next week!

I'm trying to build a list of things that we'll need - any ideas, experience?
theres nothing you can't buy in a local pet shop, so nothing to worry about.
Things you'll need are litter box and litter, food and water dishes, scratching post, grooming tools - especially if it's a long hair kitten :) And TOYS!
Send pictures of your kitten!
And I hope you keep him or her in the house at night. There seems to be a growing number of 'hotspots' where family pets are kidnapped at night by men in vans to be exported when dead for their skins.
I know China has a history of doing this, and would hate for any loved family pet (or any cat for that matter) to be put at risk by the owner not knowing about this terrible but growing problem.
