I've just adopted a Maine Coon Cat that looks so much like the cat pictured. She is a wonderful, gentle cat, and I feel fortunate to have her.

We have a five year old Maine Coon cat called Sophie who looks very much like this beautiful one. She has all the traits mentioned but can also be a bit aggressive with her claws with us. She is also a little bit naughty with scratching funriture and has totally ruined a leather sofa! But we love her very much and she is great fun.

i have always had a cat even from childhood. i've never heard of 'maine coon, my hairdresser gave me this stray female. she is wonderful. her temperament is very 'soft' gentle, does not like to be on my lap but lays next to me or lays with her paws on my lap. i try to hold her but when i sit down she is done. she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. she doesn't bite or scratch. she is very gentile with her claws. i've never seen a cat like her. she is very special to me because she is so unique. i love her color also. just like the one above. very soft and fluffy. she is small maybe still a kitten, under a year. she gets along well with my 20 lb. tabby.

my boyfriend found Luky on the street few ears ago. Now he's 5 years old. We just found that he's a Maine coon... :) He is like a best friend to us, we really love him.
